Pancakes Sold = Bushfire Appeal Donation
What a great way to raise money - eating pancakes.
On Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) 24th February, for every pancake we sold we donated $5 to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
We sold 31 pancakes. A massive number for a Tuesday!! This is more than 10 times what I’d normal expect to sell on a weekday.
So Sea la vie donated $155 plus a further $42 was raised from additional guest donations (total donation $197).
Thanks to everyone who came and helped the cause.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been affected by the devastation of the Victorian Bushfires.
