Sea la vie Restaurant

 

The Sea Eagles are in the NRL Grand Final!!  Yes, they are and they ate lunch at Sea la vie last Thursday - so of course they won.  They ate Lasagne and Chicken Penne Pasta - both were a great hit with the players.

On Saturday night (22/9/07) they beat the North Queensland Cowboys to reach their first Grand Final in 10 years.  This Sunday night (30/9/07) they will play the Melbourne Storm for the prize of being crowned the NRL 2007 Premiers.

This week at Sea la vie our Floor Staff are wearing Sea Eagle Grand Final T-Shirts, we also have flags flying as we show our support for our local NRL team.

So go the Sea Eagles!!  Sea la vie wishes the very best to Des (The Coach - Pictured Above - on the left) and his boys.

Happy Birthday Tony.  Tony turns the BIG 4 0!!

Tony, who many of our diners will recognise, turns 40 today (7th September - the APEC Public Holiday).  Tony is a loyal and dedicated member of the Sea la vie Team.   He is our Floor Manager.

Tony, having told all and sundry at Sea la vie (staff and guests) about his birthday, I decided, wouldn’t mind a little note to tell the whole world that he is now 40.  So now everybody (hopefully) knows.

We spoiled Tony with a cake and the staff sang Happy Birthday (see picture left).  Two of our regulars Jim (who has appeared on our Blog before) and his wife, Betty also spoiled Tony with some Cup Cakes (see picture right).
